Pint-sized crooner Jim Corr has been left breathless by former X Factor finalist Roberta Howett, according to her close pals.
And it appears that he'll have no problem when it comes to sorting out a date for his sister Andrea's swish nuptials to billionaire heir Brett Desmond this summer.
The controversial crooner, who has been linked to a string of beautiful women in the past, has been singing the praises of the young Dublin beauty amid reports of a new romance.
The Diary has it on good authority that the music-mad pair are rumoured to have just started dating after meeting through mutual contacts not so long ago, with the young starlet telling her pals they're now an item.
Outspoken Jim, whose wacky views have previously raised eyebrows, has been officially single since breaking up from beauty queen Gayle Williamson more than two years ago. Yet now the dad of one is being linked with the blonde beauty, who was a finalist on the hit talent show in 2004 and was hailed as 'one to watch' in the music world.
No stranger to moving in showbiz circles, she was tipped for the top after former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne took her under her wing after she was booted off the programme.
Eye-catching Roberta (26) lived the high life in LA for a while, even hanging out at glitzy parties with Sharon and her bat-chomping hubbie Ozzy Osbourne before she moved to London to pursue her career.
However, she never quite reached the dizzy heights that were predicted for her in the wake of being eliminated from Cowell's hit ITV programme and never scored that number one hit, as expected.
But that may be all set to change, given that she's now being linked with one of the members of the chart-topping Corrs.
A source said: "Jim may be quite low profile at the moment because he hasn't put out any new music lately, but dating someone like him would give a young hopeful like Roberta a huge boost career-wise. The amount of contacts he has in the music business alone would be huge. She's also a very pretty girl so could probably have her pick of guys."
Given a post on Roberta's MySpace page, it's clear that she still hasn't given up her dreams of stardom.
"I've just finished some more songs and am waiting to get them back. I love recording and working in studio. It's the best feeling!" she wrote. "I'm making good progress and I think I have found my sound."
Meanwhile, Jim has been taking some time off from making music to dabble in property development as his fellow siblings concentrate on their personal lives.
This August will see Andrea tie the knot with her handsome beau Brett in some glitzy nuptials in Clare followed by a reception in the upmarket Doonbeg Hotel.
Some of the biggest names in the world of business and entertainment will be at the bash, including the Heffernans, Patrick Kielty, Bono and Gavin Friday.
