Niamh moving in with Collette's sister during uncivil war
HER spat with former army lieutenant Collette McBarron may have turned nasty, but model Niamh Walsh certainly isn't holding a grudge.
The Diary can reveal how just weeks after parting company with former flatmate Collette, the Assets beauty has decided to move in with her younger sister, Christina.
Niamh, better known as Nemo, explained how she has been pals for many years with the Donegal lass (22) and has no fears about them sharing a flat together on the outskirts of Camden in London.
Christina completed a degree in drama and English at DIT and made the move to the UK earlier this year.
Leggy blonde Niamh (26) quit her life in Dublin to move in with Collette in April, with the girls going their separate ways just three months later.
But despite her acrimonious parting of ways with Collette, Niamh insists that she and Christina have remained as close as ever and have already found their new pad.
"Myself and Christina have been friends for years so it made sense for us to move in together," Niamh told the Diary.
"I had hoped that things could be civil between myself and Collette but it doesn't seem to be working out. There's been a lot of drama but I just want to move on now.
"She and Christina are fine. They're sisters so obviously they will always be close.
"We're just looking forward to getting settled into the new place now. We're going to be living in the north of London," she added.
Niamh, who is currently single, went on to explain how she has just landed a new gig as a hostess at a well known nightclub.
The model is currently completing a training course for her role and says that she is not permitted to disclose the name of her new employer until she has finished.
Niamh says she is also keeping a hand in modelling and has been thoroughly enjoying life on the London social scene.
The former Miss Ireland contestant and her pals are now regular visitors to some of London's top celebrity hotspots including VIP club Whiskey Mist.
Niamh had also been out with her one-time friend Collette on the night that photographs were taken of her with footballer Ashley Cole last May, as they climbed into a car outside London's Maddox Club.
Collette (26) claims to have then spent four hours with Cheryl Cole's ex-hubby at the couple's former marital home, Hurtmore House.
She claimed the England and Chelsea footballer opened up about his troubled marriage to Girls Aloud singer Cheryl on the night, but insists they did nothing more than kiss.
Collette also made headlines in 2007 when the then Second Lieutenant was court-martialed after being photographed kissing England rugby player Tom Croft in a club when she should have been be on duty.
