Natasha back in town for good pal Gillian's star-studded nuptials
SHE'S been noticeably absent from Dublin's social scene since quitting Ireland, but socialite Natasha Rocca Devine made her return to the limelight in Dublin when she stepped out to her friend Gillian Fitzpatrick's wedding.
The Diary spotted the brunette beauty -- who quit these shores in favour of the bright lights of London -- at the upmarket Westin hotel on Saturday afternoon, as she joined some well-known names and faces to toast the UCD graduate on her nuptials to longterm beau James Ward.
Natasha (26) is the daughter of ex-Miss Ireland Michelle Rocca and her former husband, onetime Arsenal footballer John Devine.
She spent the day catching up with pals including former Miss World Rosanna Davison, who caused a stir in an emerald green dress, as well as Lillie's Bordello hostess Hayley Rock, Herald columnist Marisa Mackle and Assets beauty Laura Toogood, who was bridesmaid on the day.
The high-profile group partied into the early hours at the showbiz bash, with 90s tribute band Smash Hits providing enter-tainment, before the newlyweds jetted off to Dubai and the Maldives on their honeymoon.
"Natasha was in great form and things seem to be going very well for her in the UK," said a close pal.
"She's still working hard on establishing herself as a TV presenter in London and has been working on a number of projects to try and get her name out there.
"She filmed a mini-series focusing on the different tourist attractions to see in and around London and she's also begun designing some items of clothing so she's in no hurry to move back to Dublin anytime soon."
Prior to leaving for her new life across the water, Griffith College graduate Natasha had already secured a contract with British talent agency MTC UK, which stands for Make The Connection.
Among the high-profile names on its books are Dancing On Ice's Holly Willoughby and MTV's Steve Jones.
Natasha left Dublin in the summer of 2009, just a few months after her beloved uncle Patrick Rocca ended his life tragically at his Castleknock home.
Despite her young age, Natasha is no stranger to media attention after hitting the headlines when she sustained serious head injuries following a car accident in San Francisco in July 2004.
Her mum Michelle and stepdad Van Morrison immediately dashed to her side.
Natasha was in a coma for a time and had to go through a lengthy recovery process.
The ambitious beauty has previously spoken about how the experience made her more determined than ever to achieve her dreams.
