Modelling can be dangerous -- Nadia falls off high heels

Top model Nadia Forde (22) will have to forsake her high heels for a while after spraining her ankle at a photoshoot.

The newly single babe, who split last month from DJ partner Mark Noble, is now hobbling around on crutches after she slipped after a photoshoot.

Luckily, her pal Sara Kavanagh was on hand to drive her to the Beacon Clinic where she received treatment for an ankle sprain and ligament damage, which may require follow-up treatment.

"I was doing a photocall for 3 Mobile and just as I was leaving, I caught my heel on an uneven surface and fell. I was trying to recover my balance and then I went down again and Sara nearly came down with me," she explained.

Nurse

"I was in absolute agony and I was half laughing, half crying with the shock.

"Sara drove me to the hospital and was like my nurse for the day, pushing me around in a wheelchair. They bandaged it up and gave me crutches and told me to come back again to check the ligament damage.

"I have never been the best walker in heels anyway so it wasn't a big surprise to me when I fell. All the girls were laughing and joking that modelling was a dangerous profession sometimes, despite what people think!"

The Clontarf native hit the headlines recently after calling time on her romance with DJ Mark, whom she had been dating for more than two years after meeting him in FM104.

She was seen hitting the tiles over the weekend as she immersed herself in some singleton fun with her girlfriends as she put her man trouble behind her.
