Model Georgia denies rift with Nadia after 'bust-up in Marbella'

THEY'VE been the talk of Dublin's social scene in recent weeks thanks to an alleged falling out but top model Georgia Salpa insists that she and fellow beauty queen Nadia Forde are as friendly as ever.

The half Greek/half Irish catwalk queen (26) has denied rumours of a rift between her and fellow Assets beauty Nadia -- who were previously inseparable -- following their recent girly holiday to Marbella.

The two holidayed in the resort alongside fellow beauties Michele McGrath, Leah O'Reilly, Emily McKeogh, Karena Graham and Daniella Moyles at the end of last month.

And those close to the high profile pair claim that they've been giving each other a wide berth since their break, with Nadia noticeably absent at the launch party for Georgia's new reality show, Celebrity Salon, the week before last.

The brunette beauty (21) also pulled out of attending the Miss Universe finals at the Burlington last Friday, choosing instead to turn on the style for the following night's Assets summer party at Lafayette cafe bar.

Eyebrows were again raised when Georgia, Daniella, Emily and Louise Johnston made a personal appearance at Movida nightclub in Loughrea, Galway, instead of attending the annual bash.

However Georgia was quick to shoot down widespread gossip about a bust-up when contacted today.

"There's no falling out on my part anyway. We're friends. We're fine," she said.

Tongues first began wagging about tensions between the photocall queens when Nadia changed her flights to fly home midway through the group's holiday to Spain.

One well-placed source revealed how relations have been decidedly frosty between the girls ever since.

"There's been a bit of a row going on for the last few weeks," they explained. "It all started when the girls were over in Spain and a drunken argument erupted one night.

"They've been doing their best to keep it quiet since they got home but the rift is becoming more and more obvious."

Georgia and Nadia have been close since their careers began taking off two summers ago.

Georgia was on hand to support her pal after her split from Mark Noble earlier this year.

The sultry brunette broke up with her own long-term boyfriend Barry O'Brien in recent months and has since taken up with US lothario Calum Best after the pair met while filming Celebrity Salon.
