Model couple Jude and Rob quitting Ireland to strike a pose in South Africa
MODEL Jude Nabney is setting her sights on greener pastures -- and is taking fiance Rob Rea along with her.
Catwalk queen Jude is packing her bags for South Africa this month and is jetting off with her future husband to set up home in Cape Town.
With big names like Marc Jacobs, Guess and Jimmy Choo on her portfolio book, the 24-year-old has a new ambition to conquer the Southern hemisphere and will take on a six-month full-time contract with a leading model agent.
Work has already been lined up for the Belfast beauty -- who is signed to elite management agency, Ice Models, in Africa.
"We're moving in two weeks time and will be based there for a while so I hope to get a lot of big shoots out," Jude told the Herald.
"I'm so busy at the minute with catalogue work in lovely hot countries -- I'm spoilt for choice."
And long-term beau Rob (26) will be joining her on the runway action.
"Rob has given up his job in Ulster Bank and is going to pursue modelling full time with Jude over there," said First Option scout, Trish Fallon.
The 5ft 9in blonde met her prince at a top fashion event called Ireland's Next Big Thing in 2008, and the pair have been inseparable ever since.
The good-looking couple -- who currently share a love nest in Belfast -- got engaged last December and are set to wed in an intimate ceremony next September.
Well organised Jude will plan the big day from her Cape Town base and has already decided on a venue and dress.
"I finally picked my dress last week, it's designed by Kathy de Stafford, she's amazing.
"It's made to measure, so will be just for me." They have even chosen their honeymoon spot: "I think we are set on Bali with two city stops to Hong Kong and Singapore."
Despite being one of the country's busiest models on the scene, glamorous Jude has said she cannot wait to take on motherhood, but has no immediate plans to hang up her strutting heels.
"I can't wait to have mini Robs running around the place," she revealed.
"But as I'm only 24 and so busy with work it won't be for a long time, I'd say well into my 30s."
