Miriam O'Callaghan ditched her role as RTE star to become proud mum as she watched her twin daughters win a prestigious basketball tournament.
Daughters Georgia and Jessica McGurk co-captained their Alexandra College team to success as their presenter mum Miriam and RTE rugby host dad Tom McGurk looked on.
Stylish Miriam was dressed casually for the occasion in a turquoise top and sporting a set of eyeglasses as she joined the other parents to cheer on the team.
But all eyes were on the twins when they won Girls Under 19 Schools Cup final at the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght yesterday.
The pair were playing on behalf of Alexandra College and were laughing and hugging upon being named champions.
They happily posed for pictures alongside the competition co-ordinator Conor Lilly, holding their trophy as well as hugging teammate Georgia Murphy after the final buzzer.
The victory is particularly important to the girls, who narrowly lost out on winning the title with their teammates last year.
Proud mum-of-eight Miriam previously revealed that her children always come first and she attends every important game to offer her support.
"I attend every big game; these moments don't come again," she said.
"I don't want to lie on my deathbed feeling guilty that I missed out on all their events but thinking at least I was a good TV presenter; when it comes down to it, who cares about being a good presenter?"
Since losing out on the title last year, the girls were more determined than ever to beat their competitors.
And while their mum may be one of the most well known women in the country, she didn't steal any of the limelight away from her excited daughters as they celebrated their victory.
The twins are Miriam's children with her first husband McGurk, along with Alannah (22) and Clara (19).
