Love's in the air but still no ring
HER long-term boyfriend plans to pull out all the stops to show her a good time this Valentine's Day -- but former Miss Universe Ireland Lynn Kelly insists she won't be expecting a diamond ring.
The Assets beauty explained how her other half of over five years, Robert Barr, has warned her to take Tuesday off work to coincide with their romantic celebrations next week.
However Lynn, who has been living with her beau for several years now, is adamant she is not expecting him to go down on one knee this month -- she feels the couple are still too young.
"God no, I'm not expecting a proposal," Lynn laughed. "I'm only 22, so it would be very young to even think about anything like that.
"We have been together for over five years though, so we usually do something special for Valentine's Day. My boyfriend told me to book Tuesday off work, so I'm looking forward to finding out what he has planned," she added.
The ambitious beauty queen went on to explain how she is hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow models Vivienne Connolly and Jenny Lee Masterson by trying her hand at acting.
The brunette beauty can currently be seen on a new TV advert promoting a car magazine and hopes it will be the first of many acting gigs.
"Basically they were holding castings and they saw me presenting a fashion segment on Xpose and asked me if I'd be interested in coming along," she said.
"I do get a bit of slagging from my boyfriend and other friends over things like that, but it's kind of part and parcel of the job I do, so I don't mind it at all. Acting is something that I'm definitely looking to get into."
