Love cheat Giggs promises to get help for sex addiction as wife tells pals 'it's an illness'

SHAMED Manchester United star Ryan Giggs has promised his wife he will seek professional help for sex addiction in a bid to save their marriage.

The 37-year-old has pledged that he'll check into rehab in an attempt to rebuild his shattered family life after his wife Stacey decided to stay with him and try to save their relationship.

The star's reputation is in tatters after revelations of his alleged eight-year affair with sister-in-law Natasha (28) and fling with Big Brother babe Imogen Thomas.

Now mum-of-two Stacey (32) has told a close friend: "Ryan has an illness and he needs my help.

"As long as he does what he has promised our marriage will survive.

"He never loved Imogen and Natasha is a liar. Our family will come through this."

It has also emerged this weekend that Natasha wants to apologise to Giggs's devastated wife and bitterly regrets the heartache that she cause.

A friend of the estate agent said: "She's so sorry for the upset that she has caused Stacey. She never wanted it to end like this. It has caused no end of heartache for everyone.

"She knows what she and Ryan did was wrong but always hoped it would remain secret for Stacey and Rhodri's sake. Tash has been having sleepless nights since it all came out and would like to apologise to Stacey for everything that happened."

The mum of two is also alleged to have bedded three other Manchester United aces including Dwight Yorke, Phil Bardsley and Danny Simpson.
