Lisa's see-through dress looked fine to me -- Faye

Faye Dinsmore has defended the risque see-through dress worn by bride-to-be Lisa Murphy at the glitzy VIP Style Awards.

The flame-haired model, who is set to host her debut Ireland's Most Influential In Fashion awards at the Mansion House tomorrow night, says she can't understand the fuss over Lisa's revealing dress.

Faye (23) explained how she found herself sitting at the same table as Gerald Kean's other half and believes that criticism of the beauty salon owner's barely-there black dress was uncalled for.

She admits, however, that she is hoping to attract a more conservative audience at her own rival bash tomorrow evening and says that glamour model Jordan is one celeb who won't be on the guest list.

"Lisa and Gerald were at our table," Faye explained. "Her dress looked fine to me. I mean, you couldn't see her nipples or anything like that. I don't really know what all the fuss was about.

"It was my first time to be invited and I really enjoyed it. I think my awards will be a different type of event to the Style Awards as they're all about the publicity and that's why the likes of Jordan is invited.

"My awards are more about honouring the people who put the celebrities together, the photographers and designers and that kind of thing," she added.

The leggy model, who is signed to IMG in Paris, says she is thoroughly enjoying being at home in Ireland this week, given that she generally lives out of a suitcase as she trots around the globe for her career.

Esteemed designer Karen Millen is among the big names jetting in to judge the category of New Irish Designer on the night.
