BOYZONE star Keith Duffy's wife Lisa has said that the families of Westlife will enjoy a "new lease of life" now that the band have called it a day.
The mum-of-two revealed that pals Georgina Ahern-Byrne, Gillian Filan and Jodi Albert won't know themselves now that their husbands have hung up their mics.
Lisa, who celebrated her 40th birthday last week, told the Herald that the commitments abroad as a band member can put a strain on family life and routines at home.
"I think they're going to find a new lease of life now. You've lived in a bubble for so long and the lads know exactly what they want to do, they have different pursuits ... I think the world's their oyster at the moment.
"It's good times for them all, they have their kids now so it's a nice time to have a bit of time off because touring takes its toll on you."
Swords-based Lisa, who wed Corrie star Keith (37) in 1998, could see her other half pack his bags again next year with Boyzone, as the quartet are expected to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a number of concert dates.
The couple, who have two children Jay (15) and Mia (12), are jetting off to Spain tonight for a well-earned holiday, once Keith signs off from his 98FM radio email@example.com
