Leigh not bothered by the ex factor on her girly night out

A 'case of the ex' clearly wasn't going to ruin a girls' night out for actress Leigh Arnold.

The pint-sized brunette chatted to new admirers in full view of former flame Emmet Scanlan. Former Clinic star Leigh (30) was spotted enjoying a night out in Lillie's Bordello, where Emmet also happened to be meeting friends.

The bubbly actress was seen lapping up attention from several well-heeled hunks just metres away from where her Charlie Casanova co-star was sitting.

A Diary mole revealed: "They're still pals but they didn't arrive together. Leigh came in first with a few friends and Emmet came in a while later for drinks in the Library Bar.

"She didn't even know he was back in Dublin but she did pop over to say a quick hello. There is no animosity between them at all.

"She knew once Emmet was going to be working abroad that she had no interest in doing the long-distance romance thing all over again.

"Leigh is having the time of her life right now. She's just nabbed a new acting job playing Mina in Dracula, which is keeping her very busy.

"She has had no complaints at all about being single over the summer. She's never short of attention when she's out and she has too much going on in her schedule right now for anything else," the source added.

The thespian duo split earlier this summer, having fallen for one another on the set of the Irish movie Charlie Casanova six months ago.

Their sudden split in June was said to have been mutual. Friends close to Leigh revealed they enjoyed each other's company but didn't get the chance for things to become serious because Emmet relocated to the UK after nabbing a job on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.

"Myself and Emmet are very good friends and I wish him all the best with Hollyoaks but there's nothing more to it," she said at the time.

Emmet (31) is regularly back in Dublin to visit his daughter Kayla (8), and friends say he and Leigh keep in touch.

The Foxrock beauty is gearing up to start rehearsals for her new Dracula production today.

The actress has had no problem lining up work since The Clinic was axed last year and was also recently made the Irish face of global cosmetics brand Gosh.

And Leigh is clearly looking forward to her new theatre gig, even posting pictures of herself in her Mina costume on her Facebook page.

The Tivoli Theatre production kicks off on September 28.

Meanwhile, there were plenty of other celebrities partying over the weekend.

Top model Rosanna Davison (26) and fashion designer Dawn Fitzgerald were all glammed up to celebrate the birthday of their pal Brendan Rogers.

It was the second night out on the trot for stunning Rosie, who was spotted at the Miss Afterdark beauty contest in Dandelion on Friday night with beau Wes Quirke and pals -- a rare joint appearance for the loved-up couple, who have recently made efforts to avoid hitting the social scene together.

Blonde model Pamela Ryan (18) from Ballsbridge walked away with the title and will now go on compete in the Miss Ireland final on September 18 in the D4 Berkeley hotel.

Elsewhere Rob Kearney caused a stir in Krystle, where he was spotted alongside Keith Duffy, Brent Pope and Ireland soccer stars John O'Shea and Stephen Hunt.
