Jude planning picture-perfect nuptials to fellow model Rob

CHAMPAGNE corks have been popping for top model Jude Nabney (24) after she got engaged to her long-term boyfriend Rob Rea (26).

And given that that he's a part-time model as well, their nuptials should be picture-perfect. Jude, who is one of Ireland's busiest models, has revealed to the Herald how they have set the date already.

"We're very organised," she said. "We're getting married on September 22 in 2012 and we have already picked the venue, the Mill at Ballydugan which is a converted flour mill and absolutely gorgeous. That's the only thing we've organised though."

Blonde 5'9" Jude and handsome Rob have been dating for four years and met in suitably chic style -- at a top fashion event called Ireland's Next Big Thing.

"He had won it the previous year so had come back to talk about his experiences and it was one of those old fashioned things where our eyes met across a catwalk and I thought he was gorgeous," she explained.

"So I asked my agent at the time all about him and it turns out that they represented Rob too so they gave me his email and we went out on a date."

Since then, the two First Options models have gone on to buy a house together in Belfast.

Jude beauty has worked around the world for top designers like Marc Jacobs, Guess, Jimmy Choo and Harvey Nichols, while Rob now works in Ulster Bank. But it was a lengthy modelling stint in South Africa that prompted Rob into finally popping the question in typically romantic style last December.

"I was away in Cape Town for two months and the day that I came back, he picked me up from the airport and he took me to where we had our first date," she said.

"It was really snowy, really cold and I was all wrapped up and when he asked me to marry him, I was like 'but I'm wearing ear muffs!'..."

This morning saw her getting some early practice when it comes to her own nuptials given that she arrived into the launch of the second Dundrum Town Centre Wedding experience in a vintage car and designer wedding dress.
