Jet-setter Amanda hits Ibiza with star pals

HER nuptials to fiance Craig McMullen have been put on hold, but Total Wipeout presenter Amanda Byram certainly hasn't been sitting around moping.

The Herald can reveal how the popular TV star has been busy jet-setting around Europe for the past few weeks taking in stops in Italy, Spain and France.

Castleknock beauty Amanda's latest getaway saw her enjoy a four-day break to the party isle of Ibiza alongside fellow TV stars Denise Van Outen and Fearne Cotten.

The group took off for the sun-kissed Balearic isle last Thursday, having attended the Glamour Awards at London's Berkley Square Gardens the previous evening.

Amanda first became friendly with her fellow broadcasters X Factor winner Alexandra Burke and singer Gabriella Cilmi to climb Machu Picchu in Peru for Breast Cancer Care.

Songstress Alex couldn't join in the Ibiza fun as she is currently in Vietnam touring, while Gabriella was performing at the Isle of Wight Festival.

"Amanda and the rest of the gang had been planning a reunion trip away for quite a while now and had a ball in Ibiza," said an insider.

"They were out partying every night and went to some of the top clubs including the exclusive Blue Marlin.

"They all really bonded during their charity challenge last year and it was a nice opportunity for them to have a proper catch-up.

"Amanda has been doing quite a bit of travel for the past few weeks. She spent a few days in Madrid in May and then had a week in Sardinia.

"Just before she went to Ibiza she was in Paris for a couple of days," they added.

The former model had been due to walk down the aisle with her longterm boyfriend Craig this summer, but decided to push back the date due to her hectic work schedule and a family illness.

Amanda also has her hands full with her busy TV career, which sees her spend a lot of time in Argentina in order to film Total Wipeout.

The First Option beauty has just finished filming the fifth series of the hit BBC game-show and has even recorded a new interactive computer game version for fans alongside her co-presenter Richard Hammond, of Top Gear fame.

McMullen is a former Leicester rugby player from Australia.
