Jennifer's got her new comedy role all covered
Bawdy broadcaster Jennifer Maguire will have to master the art of restraint and understated acting when she's in new RTE sitcom The Centre.
It focuses on the 'hilarious' mishaps in an Irish community centre. And Jennifer (right) says her role is like no other.
"You don't see that much of me because I'm in a Burka," she told the Herald. "So it's all eye acting, which is the hardest kind of acting."
Katherine Lynch, Gary Cooke and Hilary Rose aka Handy Sandy will also feature in the series.
"It's going to be a great show and it's amazing working with all those people – they're all so massively talented," Jennifer said.
And working alongside Leitrim native Katherine has certainly been an experience.
"Katherine is as bold as brass but she is lovely. It's been an amazing experience."
Jen and Katherine share the screen with Moone Boy's Norma Sheaban and Love/Hate's Denise McCormack.
London Irish actress Yasmine Akram and Holby City star Catherine Walsh will also feature in the series.
