Jen joins in the madness at her first ever rag week

RTE presenter Jennifer Maguire returned to her college days when she stirred up some trouble at Cork rag week for comedy series Republic of Telly.

The bubbly presenter explained how viewers will see her getting involved in everything from shaving eyebrows to necking pints when the fourth season of the popular show hits the small screen next month.

"I had a great time down in UCC all week," Jennifer explained. "It was my first ever rag week so I went to all the events and did all the usual mad things that students do.

"The show's due back on in early March so I'm hectic at the moment filming for it. I'm going to be doing a lot more sketches this year, rather than just annoying celebrities on the red carpet.

"We'll also have a few new comedians and other new acts and talents. We don't know yet about the Rubberbandits as they're so busy gigging around the country, but hopefully they'll be back.

"Myself and Dermot [Whelan] and Bernard [O'Shea] will all be there for definite."

Feisty Jennifer, who first came to prominence after participating in The Apprentice in the UK, has also been causing havoc across the water for the forthcoming series, after nabbing a ticket to the glitzy Bafta awards.

The chatty brunette insists she can't give too much away until the show itself airs, but admits that Welsh presenter Steve Jones, who was covering the red-carpet event for E! Entertainment, was one of her primary targets.
