FORMER TV presenter Lorraine Keane has revealed she's too popular for Facebook.
The mum-of-two has had to shut down her social networking site because she's been inundated with friend requests from fans looking to chat to her.
Lorraine, who used to work for TV3 and boasted 5,235 friends, sent out a message to explain that she's been forced to give up her personal profile page due to the massive amount of people hoping to get in touch with her.
"Unfortunately I can't accept new friend requests because of the numbers limit on Facebook, so I'm deleting my profile and moving to a new page... and we can keep in touch that way," she said.
The telly star, who is married to Peter Devlin, has now set up a public figure page and so far over 2,000 people have 'liked' the IFTA-nominated broadcaster's new account.
Things have been busy for the brunette lately and the chatty anchor has been making a return to Irish TV screens, but not in a presenting capacity.
After enjoying massive success with her acting and singing debut on stage in Girls' Night The Musical, Lorraine has been lined up as the new face of Soul Furniture, and is currently starring in their new TV ad campaign.
She posted a picture of herself getting glammed up for the advert, which is being aired on RTE.
She said: "Getting preened by one of the team from Dylan Bradshaw for my new TV ad campaign -- all will be revealed soon."
