I'll stick to Irish lads -- model Kristi
KRISTI KUUDISIIM has been turning heads in South Africa this month after jetting over for a photoshoot.
But the plus-size model has revealed how Irish men are definitely more her type. The Estonian beauty, who previously dated Darryl Downey, said that while she had an amazing time during her trip to Cape Town, the local men weren't to her taste. "I prefer Irish men, I had lots of fun there but I knew I was coming back so didn't bother going down that route. I enjoyed myself, but I was mostly there for work," she said.
Now back in Dublin, she has also landed the front cover of Estonia's biggest women's magazine, entitled Buduaar, which is due out in a couple of weeks. "That's my first cover shoot for such a well-known magazine there. All friends and family will be reading it. We did the shoot on Sunday and my interview as well.
"It comes out quarterly and they'd have big stars on the cover. I was really flattered to get it. It's nice for my family. My mum will be buying them all up."
She also insisted that Irish models don't realise how fortunate they are to get work in the fashion industry. "I love living in Dublin, but going abroad makes you realise how easy we have it here," she continued.
"In South Africa there are 200 models at castings, and here in Ireland you only have 20-30 models turning up.
"The local models don't know how lucky they are. It's good experience to go away and see how it works away."
