I'd love Grainne's job says model Sarah Morrissey

GRAINNE Seoige better keep a close eye on her newest gig, as Sarah Morrissey says she wants to have her own sports show.

The Dublin model said that after working on RTE's TTV programme for three years, she feels ready to get back in front of the camera again. Sarah, who is currently fronting both the Brown Thomas and Heatons Autumn/Winter collections, says that she feels ready to give her TV career another shot. She told the Diary that she would love to follow in the footsteps of Grainne, who has signed on to present a new RTE sports quiz called Put 'Em Under Pressure, and will host GAA specials Up For The Match.

"I did presenting for three years in RTE and now that it's getting quiet again, I'm going to look back into it. I have my showreel all done and dusted so I just need to start sending that around.

"I would like to get back into entertainment, although I am really sporty, so I would love to do a show about that. I don't see why more women can't do it," she said.

And it looks like Sarah's career is her main focus in life at the moment.

Although her model pal Aoife Cogan is putting all of her attention into her big white wedding to Ireland Rugby Ace Gordon D'Arcy, Sarah says she is in no rush to walk down the aisle with her long time love, boyfriend of five years Pat Jennings Jnr.

"No wedding bells yet. I'm going to let the other girls get that out of the way first, it will give me a bit of time. Now that a few friends have got engaged I don't have to do it yet, so I have a bit of time on my hand," she laughed.
