I want to be an actress -- Fade Street's Louise

FADE Street star Louise Johnston (left) has worked as a hostess, an intern and a product manager in the past two years, but the Diary can reveal that the reality TV star is still in search of the right job.

Despite filming new episodes of Fade Street over the past month, Louise has still been searching for a new career path.

And after getting a chance to start a new job in a top company last month, Louise told the Diary she didn't get the position and is still on the hunt for employment.

"I had a one in three chance of getting a job recently, and I didn't get it in the end. But if I had got the job I would have had to have stayed with them for a 10-month contract.

"It was quite an intense job and I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, so me not getting the job was probably the best thing that could have happened to me this year," she explained.

After losing out on the position, Louise now says she is hoping to follow in the footsteps of her co-star Vogue Williams.

The DJ, who now lives in Australila, has tried to launch her acting career and now Louise says she wants to be an actress too.

"Now that I've got a taste for being on camera from Fade Street, I'd love to try my hand at acting. And I'd like to go down a route in the media industry too. I'd love to try a bit of radio presenting."
