I love my designer clothes but never turn down a cheap bargain - Claudine

SHE may have millions in the bank, but WAG Claudine Keane still likes to bag a bargain on the high street.

The mum-of-one, who is married to Robbie Keane, has revealed she heads to Topshop like the rest of us.

A dedicated follower of fashion and last year's winner of the VIP Style Awards, Claudine (28) has told of her fondness for matching designer wear with more affordable items, and her staple casual T-shirt look is often thanks to a purchase in a high street store.

"I like bits of designer stuff, but I'm actually more [into everything]. I might have a [designer] bag or a scarf or something like that, I like to mix and match."

Claudine divulged that she loves to splash out in one of the local malls on Rodeo Drive, Hollywood.

Expensive

"There are really nice centres here, where you can pick up high street stuff, and then obviously here you can get your designer pieces and invest in something a bit more expensive."

The Dubliner, who moved to LA last year with husband Robbie and the couple's two-year-old son Robert Junior, admitted that she enjoys her new Hollywood lifestyle and knows how fortunate she is.

The couple made the move stateside last year after footballer Robbie signed to play with LA Galaxy.

"It's a beautiful place, I have to say ... I'm at that in between stage, where I'm kind of finding my feet but I'm still missing home ... It's taken a bit longer than I thought but I do love it -- it's nothing you can complain about.

"I can't complain because [moving] is part of Robbie's job -- it has its perks, I'm not going to sit here and say it's the worst life."

Claudine also defended Victoria Beckham, the fashion designer wife of Robbie's team-mate David Beckham.

Claudine told TV3'S Karen Koster that mum-of-four Victoria is very funny when away from the cameras and that the golden couple are great company.

"She's very, very nice and they're actually quite normal people - and she's very friendly. I think the sour and dour look is part of her image."
