Girls Aloud star Sarah vamps it up

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding shows off her dark side in a vampish photoshoot.

The 29-year-old, who swapped her usual blonde locks for an edgier raven-haired look, unleashed her new look for an advert.

Harding made sure her hair matched her matt black phone after becoming the face of the new phone.

Even her lips and nails were the same shade as the mobile.

The singer revealed she was hopeful that bandmate Cheryl Cole would be given a judging role on the US version of The X Factor. Fight For This Love singer Cole, has been widely tipped to join show creator Simon Cowell on the new American version.

"I think it would be very good for her, she'd fly the flag for over here as well, so fingers crossed," Harding said.

Harding also said reports of a rift in Girls Aloud were "b*****ks". "We're very much still a group," she said.

"Nadine [Coyle] lives on the other side of the Atlantic so it's not like we can pop over every five minutes for a cup of tea.

"What can you do? At the end of the day we see her when we see her or whatever. She's always been a free spirit."

Harding, engaged to DJ Tom Crane, has also been pursuing a career in acting, working alongside Oscar-winner Colin Firth on the 2007 St Trinian's comedy.

She said of the King's Speech star: "He was so much fun. He's a really nice guy, he's like a big kid," she said.

Harding was promoting the HTC Incredible S smartphone being sold by Carphone Warehouse.
