Georgia hits VIP party scene in bid to shake 'boring' tag after CBB
'BORING' Georgia Salpa is to spend the weekend partying in London after being kicked out of Celebrity Big Brother.
The Dublin model was booted out last night after housemates felt she was too dull for them.
But Georgia, who insisted she was 'relieved' to be out of the CBB house, has now lined up a string of VIP parties in the hope of changing her reputation for being dull and bland.
Close friends Michele McGrath, Daniella Moyles, Leah O'Reilly, and Emily MacKeogh have all jetted over to London to keep the half-Greek beauty company at a series of exclusive events in the coming days.
"There are going to be lots of parties going on and she will be invited to them all so we'll be there definitely.
"I had hoped she was going to stay in longer, that's why I didn't fly over yesterday but all the girls are looking forward to spending some time with her and partying," Leah told the Herald.
"I'm going to be in the UK for the next week because I'll be seeing my boyfriend anyway so I'm sure we'll all have fun.
"I'm so surprised she is out now, because she wasn't bitchy at all, it's annoying to see the likes of Nicola (McLean) still in there because she is so two-faced," she said.
Although pal Roz Purcell is unable to make the trip due to work commitments, Bucks hostess Michele flew out yesterday and was there to hug Georgia after she got evicted from the house.
Michele was invited to the live eviction by Georgia's UK manager, Dave Read, and last night assured the Herald that Georgia was "doing fine" after walking out to a mixed reaction from the crowd.
The 26-year-old told Channel 5 host Brian Dowling after her exit that she found the reality experience stressful: "I am relieved, it's so stressful and so tough in there.
"I knew they were going to nominate me. I didn't care.
"I'm just not one to start arguments. Some of the stuff going on in the house was pointless . . . I was just there to have fun."
The catwalk queen also slammed fellow contestants for being 'loud and overpowering'.
"I'm not a shy person. There were just a lot of really loud people in the house. They were somewhat overpowering."
Georgia is now looking forward to a weekend of partying with her best mates after spending 14 days in the Big Brother house.
But it looks like Georgia's pals may all be returning home without her. A source close to the AR model told the Herald that she plans to stay in the UK for the next few months, to build up a modelling career.
"Going into the Big Brother house was always a career move for Georgia.
"She had been in talks with I'm A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! and The Only Way Is Essex because her management really wanted her to make it in London, they knew she could be huge over there if they put her on the right show.
"She might not have won Celebrity Big Brother but she's gained 40,000 new followers on Twitter and was on the cover of Zoo magazine this week.
"She has already said that she wants to set up a base in London now and move there for at least six months to keep up her new profile.
"She has already been approached to do magazine deals, talk shows and interviews about her relationship with Kirk.
"She would be silly not to take advantage of all the great opportunities coming her way," the source said.
