Emma parties with Usher -- but prefers star's 'hot' dancers

SHE already lists Will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas and Florence And The Machine as friends and now it looks like top model Emma Quinlan can put Usher's personal number in her little black book.

The Diary can reveal how the leggy beauty queen was among those invited to join the R&B singer at an exclusive VIP party at Swords-based nightclub The Wright Venue, where he took over the venue's €2,500-a-night Scarface suite.

The model, who has been doing her best to shake off rumours of a romance with Irish rugby star Jamie Heaslip in recent months, had attended the Leinster versus Benetton Treviso game at the RDS earlier.

Emma (26) was busy celebrating the Leinster victory with several pals last Friday night, when Usher turned up and invited them to join his posse.

The outspoken snake-charmer explained how she partied hard with Usher and his crew into the early hours, but was more impressed by his dancers.

"I met him up in the Scarface suite," she explained. "There were no other models there, no, it was just me.

"We were there pretty late and he seemed to be really enjoying himself. I was talking to him but I wouldn't be a huge fan of his to be honest. His music wouldn't really be my style. I was just surprised to see how small he is, he's tiny. His dancers were pretty hot though," she added.

The Grammy-award winning singer is currently in town for his OMG tour, which saw him perform two sell-out gigs at the O2 this weekend.

The star was so impressed with the sprawling Northside nightclub that he returned again for a second visit after his show on Saturday night, in order to celebrate the birthday of one of his female dancers.

The star quaffed Dom Perignon champagne alongside his dancers and production team, before presenting the birthday girl with a large cake supplied by club owner, Michael Wright.

The Diary later spotted the star stopping to sign autographs for a number of gardai, who were on hand to keep the crowds of eager fans at bay. Meanwhile, Emma explained how she took it easy on Saturday night, having just recovered from a serious facial injury after an equestrian accident before Christmas.

The stunning brunette suffered a fractured jaw and swelling to her face after being kicked by her horse while trying to catch her in a field.

Emma, who is the niece of property developer Derek Quinlan, says she is now facing a small surgical procedure, in order to remove a lump that has been left over her lip. The catwalk queen admits the operation is not a medical necessity, but says it is important to her to have it rectified, given her line of work as a full-time model.

Before the op, Emma is due to jet to Paris for a work trip.
