Emma hopes for Six reunion at her wedding

RTE presenter Emma O'Driscoll wants a one-night-only comeback for her ill-fated band Six.

The bubbly kids' TV host has revealed that she would like the band -- formed by the reality show Popstars -- to have a brief reunion on her wedding night.

The group could perform their 2002 number one single Whole Lotta Lovin at Emma's nuptials.

She told the Herald that her former bandmates have all made the invite list for the big day.

Emma (29) will walk down the aisle with her long-term partner Liam Cronin (31), a maths teacher from Limerick, next summer.

The presenter and entertainer has chosen the Salthill Hotel in Galway for her reception and the couple are inviting 200 family and friends.

But far from blowing the budget on a lavish, no-expense-spared affair, the Hubble presenter has revealed how she is trying to keep things minimal on the big day.

"You can't be splashing out too much these days so I would be conscious of cost of things," she said.

The blonde beauty, who will have three bridesmaids, picked up her dress in a boutique in Cork and says she's "fairly organised".

Wedding bells are clearly in the air as she attended former bandmate Andy Orr's nuptials last summer -- and said they indulged in a little nostalgia at the bash.

"It was all very impromptu where we ended up singing Whole Lotta Lovin for his wedding dance. I thought it was going to be awful but it was actually one of the nicest moments. It was really good fun. We're always in contact with each other," she continued.

She said Andy texted her recently to say 'well done' on being featured on one of the stamps to commemorate the 50th anniversary of RTE.

"He texted to say 'Oh my God, I'm so jealous.' I couldn't believe it myself, I thought someone was playing a prank inside the office. Ringing my parents and saying 'I'm on a stamp' alongside Gay Byrne and Anne Doyle was brilliant."

Emma has also been garnering some inside info from RTE's weather department about ideal honeymoon destinations.

"We obviously want to avoid anywhere that has a hurricane season so we have been thinking of Thailand or maybe South Africa."
