PRESIDENTIAL hopeful Dana Rosemary Scallon is at odds with family members over music rights and royalty payments, it has emerged.
The sister of the Independent candidate has broken her silence over a bitter dispute about the control of a US record label.
The revelations will further damage Ms Scallon's presidential bid, after it emerged she took an oath to become a US citizen but failed to inform voters.
And Ms Scallon's estranged sister, Susan Stein, has now claimed a strategy was developed to keep the singer's US citizenship under wraps during her 1997 presidential election bid.
"There was a discussion and the decision was to not say it, but to answer if anybody asked," she said.
Ms Scallon has however rejected the claims made by her sister, again insisting that she did not take out US citizenship until 1999.
