HERE'S the first look at Colin Farrell in much anticipated summer blockbuster Total Recall.
A 30-second trailer for the film -- a remake of the 1990 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger -- hit the web this week ahead of a full-length trailer scheduled to hit American cinemas over the weekend.
The film, which also stars Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale, was directed by Kate's husband Len Wiseman and is due for general release on August 22.
The teaser shows Farrell wired up to a machine and a gun-toting Kate Beckinsale, who plays his wife.
It also features dad-of-two Colin and Jessica in the infamous hovercraft travelling at speed.
The film is an action thriller and sees Farrell begin to suspect that he is a spy.
However, as the nation states of Euromerica and New Shanghai battle for supremacy, Farrell's character is unaware which side he is on.
In a recent interview, Pearl Harbour star Kate revealed filming sex scenes with the Castleknock charmer was really "awkward".
However, the 38-year-old admitted she felt sorry for her 35-year-old co-star on set because her husband Len Wiseman directed the movie.
In what was a difficult day for the actors, Kate's hubby had to talk the pair through their heated love scene.
The British beauty said: "I think it was worse for Colin. It's awkward if you have to fondle the director's wife. Especially with Len saying, 'all right, that's it, you're fired'."
Mum-of-one Kate added she has nothing but praise for our native hunk, however, and enjoyed working with the former Ballykissangel star.
