Coleen's jetting in to make a splash with swimwear
TOP WAG Coleen Rooney is coming to Dublin next month, the Herald can reveal.
The other half of England striker and Manchester United player Wayne Rooney will be jetting over to Ireland for the launch of her new swimwear range.
She'll be following in the footsteps of Hollywood bombshell Liz Hurley after designing her own swimwear collection for the first time.
It's not yet know if she'll be modelling the skimpy line herself or if, like Liz, she'll be enlisting the services of some local Irish models to show off her colourful range.
The mum-of-one (25), who's of Irish descent, is due to come over here early next month in what will be a flying visit in her role as the face of the Littlewoods brand.
Coleen's no stranger to these shores - she was only in Dublin in December 2010 after coming here for a business meeting. Prior to that, she was here for the glitzy wedding of Wayne's Irish teammate John O'Shea, who got married at a ceremony in Maynooth, Co Kildare to Yvonne Manning - who caught the bouquet at the Rooneys' glitzy nuptials in Italy in 2008.
Although she's one of the best-known WAGs in the British soccer scene, Coleen has also made a considerable amount of money on her own merit through a string of lucrative deals and is now worth about €10m in her own right.
The wife of the soccer star, who's mum to son Kai (2), has been working in the fashion industry since 2006. She entered the big league after signing a lucrative deal with George at Asda worth more than €3.6m. She also wrote a best-selling style bible and had a €1.7m deal with Nike Women Sportswear.
In June 2010, Coleen struck a deal with Littlewoods, which was rumoured to be worth €2.4m.
