Celebs shine at glam Nuxe party

Beauty lovers were out in force last night for the prestigious launch of French skincare range Nuxe.

The Sky Suite of the Radisson hotel formed the venue for the invite-only bash, hosted by glamorous Nuxe ceo Aliza Jabes.

Guests including Pamela Flood and Siobhan O'Connor were treated to champagne and canapes before sitting down to a presentation on the natural range. Looking radiant as ever was Nuxe area manager, Michelle Thornhill.

Chic Aliza told the Diary how when she first took over the beauty brand 20 years ago, it was only stocked in just one chemist.

She has built up the brand to such a level it's now stocked in 50 different countries and a favourite with celebrities like, Beyonce.

"I was a little bit crazy. I was 25 years old and I didn't realise there was so much competition in the industry, which was probably a good thing," she explained. "Myself and my father bought a laboratory and started from scratch.

"It was very small back then, just a few products sold in one Parisienne pharmacy. That was 20 years ago. Now it's the number one product in natural cosmetology which is a great achievement."

Being the must-have-product-of-the-moment Nuxe is already proving a massive hit here at select outlets.

, distributed here by Jerry Hickey and Jody Walshe, is now set to be a big hit amongst our own glitteratti.
