Celebs get their tashes on for Movember
Movember is here so it's time to a rock a statement moustache – especially if you're a celebrity.
Cian Healy and Jamie Heaslip are perennial supporters of Movember. Last year, Heaslip looked to Ronnie Coleman for inspiration and donned a pencil thin moustache.
While prop Cian may be a dedicated 'Mo Bro', his girlfriend model Holly Carpenter is not a fan of the dreaded 'tash rash'. "Great cause but itchy kisses," she said earlier this year.
MMA fighters Cathal Pendred and Chris Fields have already started sporting moustaches and Coronas front man Danny O'Reilly will rock a tash.
Ireland AM's Mark Cagney and Aidan Cooney will grow a 'tash for cash', alongside sports presenters Tommy Martin and Kieran McSweeney.
When it comes to iconic facial hair all these Mo Bros should look to RTE legend and godfather of the Irish moustache Marty Whelan.
Marty's Magnum PI style tash is a thing of glory, many have attempted to replicate it – none have succeeded.
Growing a 'Ronnie' is high risk and can turn into a triumph or a tragedy.
Just look at Padraig Harrington. The golfer looked dodgy rather than dashing when he showed up on the green with his tapering handlebar moustache.
The Handlebar is one of the trickiest tashes to pull off.
Joe O'Shea and Kenny Egan have also tried out the Hulk Hogan look, while we admire their enthusiasm, both Joe and Kenny lacked the 'oopmh' factor to pull the look off.
Former Hollyoaks star Emmet Scanlon, however, pulls the challenging tash of with aplomb. He manages to look broody, sexy and sleazy all at once – a killer combination.
Former Love/ Hate star Aidan Gillen oozes confidence. With his dishevelled hair and tartan scarf combo, his tash is nothing but a triumph.
This year it's all about the music and the organisers are encouraging Mo Bros to rock a 'Mercury', 'Lemmy' or 'Zappa', to raise awareness and funds for men's health.
The money raised in Ireland goes to the Irish Cancer society and the Movember Foundation's global research initiative GAP.
