Breslin in mosh-pit ban after solo debut

NIALL Breslin, celebrated his debut solo gig at Oxegen in style on Saturday night by hitting the tiles at Leeson Street hotspot Buck Whaley's.

The Diary caught up with the frontman of the Blizzards as he celebrated his successful stint on stage at the Heineken Green Spheres tent at Saturday's festival.

Bressie (29) was joined in the club's VIP area by former X Factor contestant Roberta Howett, who had accompanied him on stage as a backing singer.

The Can't Stay Young Forever singer explained how he and his former bandmates had partied hard at the backstage VIP area following his performance, before heading to the pit to watch Dave Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters take to the stage for their headline act. Bressie explained how he was less than impressed, however, when security swiftly removed him from the pit for moshing.

The chart-topping singer was in good company at celebrity haunt Buck's, with fellow festival goers Michele McGrath and Hayley Ryan also partying at the venue after Oxegen.

Fellow catwalk queens Roz Purcell, Louise Johnston, Cici Cavanagh, Daniella Moyles and Nadia Forde, meanwhile, all chose to continue the celebrations at Punchestown.

The group of leggy models spent much of their weekend milling around the VIP area, where rising TV starlet Daniella was busy interviewing big name acts for Oxegen TV.
