Boyzone's tribute for Steo in Oz
X FACTOR bosses in Australia are funding an emotional Boyzone reunion to mark the first anniversary of Stephen Gately's death.
Producers have paid for singers Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch to fly Down Under this week to perform with bandmate Ronan Keating for the first time in six months.
The trio are due to sing in Stephen's honour on the show next Monday, a day after the anniversary of his tragic death in Majorca at the age of 33.
Ronan, a judge on Australian X Factor, said: "It has been a breath of fresh air to get back with the boys but since we lost Stephen last October it has been an emotional struggle.
"But being together on his anniversary and will be incredible."
Keith Duffy is unable to make the trip due to acting commitments.
Ronan said he was delighted to be performing for Stephen and had his fingers crossed that everything would go without a hitch.
