Bouncer on bail over leaking of Tindall footage

A MAN has appeared in court in connection with CCTV footage showing England rugby star Mike Tindall and a blonde woman in a bar in New Zealand.

Jonathan Dixon was remanded on bail at Queenstown District Court in New Zealand, a spokeswoman for the court said.

Bouncer Dixon (40) was charged with accessing a computer system for dishonest purpose.

He did not enter a plea and is due in court again on October 3.

Tindall, who married Zara Phillips six weeks ago, went to Queenstown's Altitude Bar with a group of England players last Sunday after management had given the squad time off.

Kissing

Security camera footage from the bar showed Tindall, who had captained England to a 13-9 victory over Argentina the previous day, in conversation with a woman.

The footage, which was posted online, appeared to show the woman kissing Tindall on the top of his head.

Sources have since described the woman as an "old friend" of the newlyweds.

Zara Phillips put the controversy behind her yesterday as she scooped first prize at a top equestrian event in Co Cork.

The 30-year-old was crowned the winner at the international horse trials at Ballindenisk in Watergrasshill.

Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney was on hand to present her with her prize.

Sitting astride her horse Lord Lauries while the British national anthem was played, Ms Phillips was all smiles.

She then participated in a lap of honour with the other top six scorers before giving the crowd a quick wave.

Ms Phillips, grand-daughter of Queen Elizabeth, flew into Cork last Thursday as the footage emerged of her husband with his arm around a blonde woman in a bar in new Zealand.

She is expected to jet out to New Zealand to join her new husband in the next few days.
