Bookworm Ruth has little time for love
DUBLIN model Ruth Griffin is remaining tight-lipped on her love life, and says she is focusing all her attention on her son and getting back to education.
The former wife of Munster rugby star Alan Quinlan told the Diary: "I don't want to talk about that at all. Right now I've gone back to college and I'm focusing on spending time with AJ."
The model, who is always in high demand, says now she spends her days hitting the books and looking after two-year-old AJ.
"I'm studying a business masters in SMURFIT College so it's pretty intense. I'll be finished my course in 2013, AJ starts school then so that's when I properly want to be back in the workplace," she said.
Unlike her close model pal Sarah McGovern, Ruth (35) decided to take some time out from modelling after the birth of her son.
"I'm modelling part time at the moment. Modelling is great because the agency understands my position.
"I am definitely glad I took time out from working after having AJ, it's a really special time. He's really good fun, he's not a baby anymore. The time is flying," she said.
Ruth made the comments while launching this year's Toddle Waddle organised by The Meningitis Trust. She now joins a long list of celebrity ambassadors including Miriam O'Callaghan and Lorraine Keane.
