BILL Bailey and a host of Irish stars joined forces to help raise €200,000 for charity in Dublin.
The English comedian wowed the audience at the event, which was held by Bord Gais to raise funds for the Society of the St Vincent de Paul.
Famous faces such as Mario Rosenstock and RTE presenter Claire Byrne attended the night, which also marked the official opening of the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
David Kirwan, managing director of Bord Gais, was also on hand to toast the success of the charity event.
"We were delighted to host this special evening with Bill Bailey on behalf of the Society of St Vincent de Paul," Mr Kirwan said.
Geoff Meagher, president of St Vincent de Paul, said the donation would greatly benefit those in need.
