Be warned ... Lorraine is writing her second book
SHE failed to set the world alight with her first attempt at book writing but it looks like former TV3 star Lorraine Keane is ready to try her luck for a second time.
The mum-of-two claims she has put her plans for a return to the small screen on ice in order to turn her attentions to a new book this summer.
Lorraine's controversial Working The Red Carpet was released amid much hype last November. The book touched a few nerves in the entertainment industry by exposing celebrities such as Robbie Williams and Dannii Minogue as "unfriendly".
She also felt the wrath of former TV3 boss Ben Frow, who claimed he would never work with the presenter again as a result of her "tell-all" tome.
"I've been given an opportunity to write another book this summer," the slender brunette revealed. But the Dublin presenter says this time around she won't be naming names.
"I would like to write something a lot less controversial. This time I would change the names to protect the innocent," Lorraine joked while at last night's Kung Fu Panda 2 premiere at the Savoy.
She is in no rush to work on TV again, though.
Despite happily taking over Claire Byrne's spot for a week on the Daily Show, the mum of two revealed that she doesn't want to return to television if it takes her away from her children:
"I love live TV and I love getting my teeth into all sorts of subjects and that's what the magazine show is all about.
"I love entertainment, but it would need to be something that could keep the balance right.
"I'm just not interested in a six-day week anymore but at the same time if it was something worthwhile I would absolutely do it" she explained.
