THINGS are heating up between top model Aoife Cogan and her rugby hunk beau Gordon D'Arcy as the Diary can reveal they are preparing to jet off on their second sun holiday of the summer.
The couple, whose relationship is going from strength to strength according to friends, returned from their first holiday together last month.
The blonde Assets beauty and the Leinster rugby ace were spotted soaking up the sun in Palma, Majorca, for an extended break in mid-July. And the Diary can exclusively reveal that they had such a good time, they're planning on heading back there as soon as possible.
A source close to the couple said: "They had a fabulous time on holiday just chilling out and soaking up the sun. It was their first proper romantic holiday together and they had a wonderful time.
"Things are going really well between them, they're certainly very happy together but it is way too early to be talking wedding bells."
Super slim Aoife must be the envy of her modelling pals, as she has been showing off her deep natural tan in an array for beautiful mini-dresses on the city's social scene since returning from their secret getaway.
But while the couple won't be rushing up the aisle any time soon, they will be flying back to Majorca to top up their tans in the coming weeks.
"They really loved it over there and were able to completely relax just like a normal couple so they're actually planning to go back over for a long weekend once Gordon has a bit of a break from training.
"He's back to business with the Leinster squad and making sure he is getting back to peak physical position after the holiday, but he loves travelling, so as soon as he and Aoife can fit it into their schedules over the next few weeks, they're planning a trip back," our mole added.
The couple are set to celebrate their nine-month anniversary any day now. Rumours of a romance between the dashing 30-year-old Wexford native and the stunning Castleknock model began swirling in early January this year.
The former Miss Ireland (26), who won the title in 2005, and her rugby hero met many times through mutual friends but it wasn't until this year that love blossomed.
They first set tongues wagging after they were spotted enjoying a night out with another couple in the Exchequer bar, where they made no secret of the fact that they were dating.
As well as being one the scene's most recognisable models, Aoife is also a qualified photographer and artist -- one of her paintings has been exhibited in the National Gallery of Ireland.
The couple sealed the status of their relationship when they attended Brian O'Driscoll and Amy Huberman's wedding together on July 2.
But the duo continue to shy away from attending the city's hotspots together. Both have been spotted out with friends in various locations recently.
Gordon, however, was not among the Leinster players to hit the tiles in Krystle on Harcourt Street over the weekend.
The rugby heroes were in good company as they partied alongside Irish soccer stars Stephen Hunt and Anthony Stokes.
Models Rachel Wyse, Karena Graham and Noirin Kelly were also among the well-dressed clubbers.
