SHE has been racking up the air miles as she splits her time between London and Dublin and admits that constant early morning flights play havoc with her sleep and skin.

But the ever-stylish Angela Scanlon has shared her top tips for surviving the drain of frequent airplane travel.

"I love cashmere socks for the airplane, which sounds very lavish but I get them on sale," the 28-year-old told the Diary.

"Also, hydrating masks and lots of water stop me from dehydrating and shrivelling up on a plane.

"And lots of moisturiser, I spend money on skin care and try to look after my skin.

"Then throw on a big fat pair of sunnies and you're good to go," she laughed.

Known for her alabaster skin, the presenter is proving to be quite the Irish success story across the water.

She recently modelled a classic Louis Vuitton bag for its UK campaign and was tipped as the new Alexa Chung by fashion bible Vogue.

But the glamorous redhead says that she still wants to work in Dublin as much as possible.

Angela has presented slots on Off the Rails and The Movie Show for RTE.

This autumn she will present documentary Oi Ginger! all about being a redhead in Ireland.
