Amy red-faced as she tells US embassy staff of Threesome

ACTRESS Amy Huberman was left seriously red-faced after a trip to the US Embassy to apply for her American work visa.

She was mortified after having to divulge a little more information than she would have liked -- involving her last big TV role.

The 32-year-old star told how the exchange with an embassy employee went: "What was your last job? Me: Threesome. Packed waiting room: stunning silence."

She was, of course, referring to her role in the hit TV comedy drama.

Rugby star Brian O'Driscoll's wife was filling in the paperwork to allow her to work in the States in American TV series Animal Kingdom at the start of this month.

She nabbed a part as the lead role in the NBC comedy pilot after trying out for just one audition in the US. Taking on the lead role of Dorothy, who is assigned to run an animal hospital, she'll be starring opposite Weeds frontman Justin Kirk in the pilot, which will be directed by You, Me And Dupree bosses Anthony and Joe Russo.

The programme centres around vet Dr George Coleman, with Amy playing the part of his ex-girlfriend, a part which will suit the pint-sized actress down to the ground given that she's renowned for her love of animals.

She is also busy preparing for the second series of UK comedy Threesome after it got the green light for another installment and she was over in London last week for her first read-through.

Although she has been nominated for a gong at the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards as one of the 20 best-dressed ladies, she won't be attending as she's going back to Britain to work on her hit show.

She'll be joined on the comedy programme by her good pal and Father Ted actress Pauline McLynn who'll again play the part of her fussy mother Lorraine.

Busy Amy is also working on her second book.
