Alexandra to jet in for the party -- on her own big day

SINGER Alexandra Burke fame will celebrate her 22nd birthday in style tonight when she jets into Tralee for a whirlwind visit to perform at the Festival Dome.

The Bad Boys singer, who won X Factor in 2008, is set to fly into Kerry Airport at 4pm this afternoon and will stay for just a few hours before jetting out to Sweden to perform at another gig in Stockholm tonight.

Alexandra, who was spotted flirting with Kelly Brook's ex Danny Cipriani at the V Festival last weekend, has handed event organisers Radio Kerry a rider looking only for healthy food ahead of her performance.

"She has asked for a selection of fruit, salad and energy drinks for her dressing room," said a show insider.

"Despite it being her birthday she's still keen to stick to a low-fat, healthy diet but we're going to surprise her with some champagne for her and her family members, who are all coming with her to celebrate.

"Diversity, who will be joining her on stage, also had some funny requests and are looking for Crispy Creme donuts," they added.

Alexandra who has just released her newest single, Start Without You, will be given a big welcome to Kerry by festival organisers, who are planning to serenade her with the final renditions of the song Rose of Tralee, before leading in to a very special chorus of Happy Birthday.

The singer has been a regular visitor to Irish shores in recent weeks, having enjoyed a shopping spree at Dublin's Coco Boutique last week following a performance at Dandelion nightclub last Wednesday night.

Tickets for the Big Party, which she will headline tonight, are still available from Radio Kerry and Roxy Outlets, priced €40.
