Aoibhinn's fond farewell to Fair City
She's saying so long to the familiar cobbled streets of Carrigstown this Wednesday.
But it looks as if blonde bombshell Aoibhinn Garrihy (below), who plays Neasa in RTE's Fair City, already has plenty of work lined up.
The 26-year-old is shooting a short film alongside Emmet Kirwan, the star of 2012 viral video Just Saying.
"I'm doing a short film with Emmet this August," she told The Diary. "It's set in Dublin and we start filming this week. I'm really excited about it."
"I play a travel agent; it's a smaller part. Emmet plays a homeless guy and he just comes in and chats to me."
Aoibhinn started acting in RTE's iconic soap in 2010 and says moving on will be a big transition.
"There are lots of big changes happening in Fair City; it's the 25th anniversary, so a lot is going on," she added.
But it may not be the last we'll see of Neasa.
"It's nice to mix things up. The door is open in case I want to go back – or they want me back!"
