Victim's family in police payout deal

British police have reached a compensation deal with the family of a Brazilian man who was shot dead after he was mistaken for a terrorist.
Jean Charles de Menezes was killed by police on July 22, 2005 when they were looking for terror suspects involved in an attack on the city's transit system the day before.
Berlusconi is 'rock star of the year'
The Italian edition of 'Rolling Stone' has named Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi as its "rock star of the year".
Berlusconi weathered a summer of scandals over allegations he slept with a prostitute after a party.
Carlo Antonelli, editor of 'Rolling Stone Italy', said: "The choice was unanimous for his obvious merits."
'No swine flu risk' under mistletoe
Britain's authority on etiquette says it's more hygienic to exchange kisses on the cheek than to shake hands -- so swine flu should not make people afraid of kissing under the mistletoe.

Original 'King Kong' up for sale
