'Stones ready to roll over flying Saints

After their FAI Intermediate Cup heroics, St Mochta's are thrust back into knock'out action tomorrow when they meet Greystones in the Herald Metropolitan Cup.

The Saints were in Inter Cup heaven following their victory over UCC last week, a win that sent them into the last four of the competition.

'Stones, though, will look to bring the Senior 1 side back to earth with a bump in the Metro as these two battle it out for a place in the last eight.

The Wicklow side's form has been patchy and defeat by Crumlin last week dropped them into the drop zone. Still, they have plenty of sting and will make the Saints work, but the home side should advance. Verdict: Home Win.

SENIOR DIVISION

FIRHOUSE CLOVER v TOLKA ROVERS

Clover are in trouble, but have plenty of games in hand and need to start trading games for points. Rovers need to win to keep in touch at the top. Verdict: Away.

KILLESTER UNITED v WAYSIDE CELTIC

Wayside will be happy to take a draw while United will have other ideas. Verdict: Home Win.

CRUMLIN UNITED v MALAHIDE UNITED

Malahide got the better of Crumlin just over a week ago. It was a humbling that the Blues will not forget and can have swift revenge. Verdict: Home Win.
