Zlatan to the rescue
Jose salutes 'outstanding' striker in League Cup win
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has more medals in his sights after he helped Manchester United land more silverware - the 32nd trophy of his career - at Wembley.
Southampton's Ireland star Shane Long got a runner-up medal while United landed the first trophy of the Jose Mourinho era, Ibrahimovic with the winner three minutes from time.
"This is what I came for, I came to win and I'm winning. So I just have to keep going because the more I win, the more satisfied I get," said the Sweden star, who has now won trophies in England, Holland, Italy, Spain and France.
"I think you appreciate it more the older you get. In the beginning you don't realise what the trophy means. The older I got, the more mature I got, the more I understood it's all about winning, it's all about collecting these trophies. I think this was my 32nd trophy and I'm super happy."
Boss Mourinho hailed his talismam: "Honestly, Ibrahimovic won the game for us because he was outstanding. I can see a couple of performances - Pogba similar level - but he was outstanding."
