Tractor Boys aim to impress O'Neill

MARTIN O'Neill run his eye over Ireland hopeful David McGoldrick as well as his Ipswich Town team-mates Daryl Murphy and Conor Sammon tonight, writes AIDAN FITZMAURICE.

The Ireland boss, who watched Glenn Whelan and Marc Wilson in last night's win for Stoke, will attend the Ipswich-Sheffield Wednesday game. O'Neill knows all about Murphy as he has featured in recent internationals against Oman and Turkey but McGoldrick, uncapped so far, is keen to make an impression. Meanwhile, Everton boss Roberto Martinez admits he is desperate to get injured players like Seamus Coleman back in action.

"All we want now is to get all the injured players back," he says. "We planned to have a squad to cope with all these games but obviously when you get someone like Steven Pienaar, someone like Seamus Coleman, someone like Ross Barkley injured, that hurts. We need to get them back."
