Time is running out for Hull in relegation battle: McShane
Hull defender Paul McShane (r) has urged his team-mates to put the "devastation" of Saturday's defeat to Burnley behind them and fight to retain their place in the top flight.
Danny Ings' 62nd-minute winner at the KC Stadium left Steve Bruce's men in the bottom three heading into their last two games against Tottenham and Manchester United.
McShane admitted his side's performance was a far cry from recent back-to-back wins over Crystal Palace and Liverpool which had given them a big chance of ensuring Premier League survival.
McShane said: "In the dressing room there was devastation but I think the lads will pick themselves up on Monday and start again - that's all we can do.
"It was a massive chance for us to stay up but we didn't take it. We didn't perform like we did against Palace and Liverpool and it's disappointing all round.
"We've got two massive games now and we need to pick up some points.
"They're getting bigger and bigger because we're not getting the results we need, and time is running out."
