Robbie Keane has claimed that he has no regrets about moving to Celtic -- despite knowing that his loan spell will end trophyless.

The on-loan Spurs striker has been spared the anger of the Celtic support and stand-in boss Neil Lennon after Saturday's Scottish Cup defeat by Ross County but feels the frustrations of being being part of a side that has failed to deliver.

Celtic Park will be half full for tonight's SPL clash with Motherwell but despite the disappointments, Keane is pleased to have achieved a boyhood dream.

He admitted: "People keep asking me if I regret the move but I came to play for Celtic and I always wanted to do that as a kid.

"I am very lucky to have the opportunity to do that. Clearly, things haven't gone well for the team but it is the way football goes at times and there's no point crying about it. You just have to get on with it and do your best.

"I have never regretted anything I have done in football. It was a dream to put the jersey on and I would never change it. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

"I would have liked to go back down the road with a medal, but it's not to be. I hope we can do well over the remaining six games."
