IRISH pair Richard Dunne and Brian Murphy have been released by QPR following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

Former Ireland international Dunne leaves the west London after joining them from Aston Villa in the summer of 2013.

He helped the R’s to promotion in last season’s Championship play-off final at Wembley, but was hampered by injury this season, making 69 appearances in two seasons for the club.

Former Bohemians goalkeeper Murphy, meanwhile, is on the look-out for a new club having made just six appearances since joining the club from Ipswich Town in July 2011.

Experienced players Rio Ferdinand, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joey Barton and Bobby Zamora have also been told their contracts will not be renewed when they expire on June 30.

English Premier League newcomers Bournemouth have signed their second goalkeeper in two days by acquiring ex-Reading stopper Adam Federici.

The Cherries brought in last season’s loanee Artur Boruc on a permanent deal on Tuesday and have followed that up by agreeing to terms on a three-year deal with free agent Federici,.

West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans has joined Norwich on a two-year deal after helping the club win promotion to the Premier League this week.
