Rafa says Mourinho not Real deal

RAFAEL BENITEZ has stated his confidence of continuing as Liverpool manager next season and has resumed his long-running feud with Jose Mourinho by suggesting that Real Madrid should not seek to hire the Inter Milan coach.

"I don't know if Mourinho is the right person to coach Real Madrid," Benitez said. "(Manuel) Pellegrini has done a great job and he should be given respect because he is still the coach."

Benitez believes he will be at Anfield next season, despite speculation about his position on Merseyside. "My future is with Liverpool," he said. "I have no offer (from another club)."

The Liverpool manager also expects Fernando Torres to stay, despite Chelsea's interest in the Spain forward. "Right now he is only focusing on going to the World Cup," Benitez said. "Only then will he think about his future."
