Pochettino has big chance
Mauricio Pochettino is a manager on the hunt now and fate his delivered a perfect opportunity for Spurs in next weekend's FA Cup, semi-final.
Given the circumstances, Pochettino knows that he can inflict some serious damage to Chelsea's morale if his players take the chance and win a day out at Wembley.
I know there's no points at stake and normally I wouldn't be one for attaching significance to a Cup game in the context of the title race but Chelsea's recent results and the simple fact that Spurs have the best chance of catching them adds a major edge to the game.
I genuinely thought that Pochettino and his young team would struggle this season after dropping the ball so badly last time out.
Some players learn from an experience like that but I thought that it was such a body blow for lads so young that they would not recover quickly enough to pick it up again this season.
But I was wrong and credit to Pochettino for the work he has done.
Spurs are in rare form at the moment and appear to have the best attacking players in the title race.
To win it, they need another mistake by Chelsea and even then, would probably have to win every game from now on, beginning with Arsenal on Sunday.
